The most iconic sports car of all time. The 911 has steadily evolved since its introduction in 1963. A significant characteristic of the quintessential 911 were it\'s forged aluminum wheels. Unmistakably Porsche, these gorgeous five-spoke wheels were standard equipment on all 911s from 1966 to 1989 Manufactured by Germany\'s most advanced forging facility, Otto Fuchs KG in Meinerzhagen, these symbolic wheels havebecome affectionately known as the “Fuchs Wheel.”
Fast forward to 2005 – the 997 model 911 debuts to much fanfare, in large part due to a design true to the original 911 design ethic. Updated in size and proportion, the 997 model 911 is as beautiful and capable as the original 911, and represents a more pure evolution in auto design and development than any other car. There could be only one way to improve on this iconic design.
